Bibliophile is a Didone display family with exceptional readability designed by Sudtipos typographer Alejandro Paul. Based on a mid-century German lettering specimen by Nerdinger, this extensive family features two weights and italics. For this project, we were commissioned to render the typeface in three dimensions. Our idea uses paint to add distinctive, volumetric texture to its thin and thick lines.
For this project we were commissioned to make a three-dimensional version of the typography itself. The final idea is a version made and written with paint to give a special and volumetric texture to the thin and thick lines of this script typography.
